Hypnobirthing is a comprehensive birth education programme. It not only teaches self hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques for a better birth, but also teaches mums-to-be and her birth partners everything they need to know (and quite often the things that midwives don't have time to tell you) to better enable a positive birth experience. Hypnobirthing is much more than just self-hypnosis for childbirth. Places are limited to 4 couples per course. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Magical Baby Moments' hypnobirthing course is designed to be a fully comprehensive antenatal course. Group courses run over either 4 evenings or a weekend. An advantage of attending group classes is that you will have the opportunity to meet other parents-to-be. Private courses are also available at a mutually convenient time.
CAN BIRTH PARTNERS ATTEND?
Birth partners are VERY welcome to attend, in fact it just doesn't make sense for them not to be there, as they play a vital role in the birth process. We believe that a woman should be well supported in pregnancy and birth. This course equips the birth partner with all the tools they need to be able to do this. We believe that birth is a team effort - not only between mum and her baby, but her birth partners and her caregivers.
WHAT WILL I LEARN AND HOW WILL IT HELP ME?
On the course you will learn how your body is designed to work perfectly in birth from a physiological and psychological perspective. You will learn how to work with your body for a calmer and more comfortable labour and birth. You will be taught various relaxation techniques. Most importantly you will come to understand why it is important to remain calm and relaxed, in mind and body. During the course, we discuss birth place choices and the interventions you may be offered, so that you are in a position to make fully informed decisions. We also run through the different stages of labour, so you know what to expect and can bring everything you have learnt together to you leave feeling informed, empowered and excited to give birth. If you are wondering about how to birth your placenta or the injections that will be offered to your baby at birth, we cover that too.
