This week, we cover the stages of labour as explained by Armando Hasudungan

My personal comments are that:
Not all contractions are painful. Yes, they can be intense and powerful, but not necessarily painful (hypnobirthing techniques can help you with contractions).

He mentions that you would have an injection to help speed up the process of birthing the placenta. This is your choice. You can decline having the injection.

Also, the part about clamping the cord is true, but please read about Optimal Cord Clamping, to know what your options are around this.
