Why do a hypnobirthing course?

​Are you a first-time mum? Are you a little apprehensive about what labour is going to be like? Maybe, even a little scared?

If you are anything like I was, you are probably reading books about how your pregnancy is progressing and how you can better prepare yourself for labour and birth. Perhaps you are looking into what antenatal classes are available in your area. There are lots of birth preparation classes out there, from area-to-area your choice can vary. As a hypnobirthing teacher, I want to tell you why I think this is the best and most comprehensive course available to you.

It is all-encompassing antenatal course. It teaches expectant parents:

• about what is happening in late pregnancy and the changes that occur during labour and birth.
• ​easy-to-do, practical relaxation techniques that expectant parents can begin implementing during pregnancy, as well as reap the benefits of all that practice during labour and birth.
• the common scenarios that may happen during labour and how to make confident decisions that are right for you and your baby. This is known as informed choice.
• to be look forward to labour, as an event to be enjoyed. You will be calm and confident after attending our course.

Why should I do a hypnobirthing course?
There are many reasons why you should do a hypnobirthing course. As a mother who has been pregnant twice, I attended the NCT course and the free course offered by the hospital. I had learned about hypnobirthing during my second pregnancy and applied the learning and techniques, which worked brilliantly. After having my children I decided to become a KG hypnobirthing teacher. Why? Because this course offered all of what I needed whereas the others only offered part of it.
